Position Overview
We’re seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to lead our local marketing and sales efforts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about face-to-face networking, building strong referral partnerships, driving territory growth, and growing the RestoPros business.
You’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and representing RestoPros of the Sandhills in the field with professionalism and confidence. This is a highly visible, boots-on-the-ground role with major growth and earnings potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive New Business: Generate leads through proactive in-person interactions, cold calls, referrals, and local networking events.
- Territory Coverage: Spend the majority of your time interacting with referral sources, making outside sales calls to build visibility and relationships in the community.
- Client Development: Build and manage strong relationships with plumbers, HVAC technicians, insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, contractors, and other referral partners.
- Pipeline Management: Track and report sales activity, lead status, and opportunities using CRM software.
- Marketing: Manage the RestoPros local presence and strategy through various platforms, online and social media management.
- Strategic Outreach: Identify key accounts and maintain a “Top Client” list, developing long-term relationships that yield recurring referrals.
- Present Solutions: Deliver impactful presentations and conversations to educate clients on the benefits of working with RestoPros.
- Market Intelligence: Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activity, and territory developments to uncover new opportunities.
- Reputation Management: Provide best-in-class service to maintain RestoPros’ premium reputation and quickly resolve customer concerns.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in territory sales, field sales, local marketing, or business development (3+ years preferred).
- Comfortable with in-person cold calling, B2B sales with tradesmen, and networking-based business development.
- Tech-savvy and able to manage leads and client info through CRM systems.
- Experience in online sales and lead management, social media management, and traditional media platform management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to connect with others.
- Self-starter mindset with a passion for achieving results.
- Ability to manage a pipeline, meet revenue goals, and close deals.
- Industry experience or knowledge in restoration, construction, plumbing, or HVAC is a major plus.
- Existing referral relationships with insurance professionals or contractors in the area.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
