Summary
In this role, you will maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while working efficiently and safely in accordance with industry standards. As face of the company, you are expected roleplay excellence in customer service interactions, guide customers through onboarding and work authorization, and communicate expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Always present yourself in a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Provide exceptional service to homeowners with various types of water damage, including water leaks from a toilet overflow, cracked shower pan, appliance leaks, HVAC leaks, frozen pipes, or any other water damage.
- Drive company vehicles across the entire Triad area, including Greensboro, Winston Salem, High Point, Burlington, Asheboro, Lexington, and more. Be prepared to drive up to 90 minutes from our local office in Greensboro: 107 Creek Ridge Road Suite B.
- Work diligently, efficiently, and safely, adhering to IICRC industry standards.
- Willingness to study and become IICRC certified.
- Keep the work vehicle neat, tidy, fully stocked, and observe all traffic rules and regulations.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for new potential clients on-site.
- Provide complete and accurate documentation for both client onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Respond to emergencies to those in times of need to provide professional and efficient service.
- Be sympathetic towards clients in stressful situations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating openly with clients on the situation at hand, our processes, and our recommendations.
- Capable of communicating scope of work and affected or damaged materials to insurance adjusters and agents.
- Perform a detailed assessment of affected and damaged materials to determine scope of work.
- Communicate with your direct supervisor on the status of jobs.
- Be available to join on call schedule to provide emergency services during afterhours.
- Use good judgement to conduct appropriate mitigation and cleanup of affected materials and areas in accordance with industry standards.
- Follow instructions given by direct supervisor to help conduct appropriate mitigation and cleanup of affected materials and areas according to industry standards.
- Maintain a safe environment and don proper PPE set by industry standards.
- Set up equipment according to the instructions of your direct supervisor and industry standards.
- Thoroughly document all mitigation efforts to ensure accurate billing.
- Monitor and document jobs and equipment status, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Desire to join a positive and professional team.
- Growth Mindset.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to climb a ladder.
- Ability to crawl in tight spaces.
- Fluent in English.
- Can work nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- One year of experience as a technician in the restoration industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour plus bonus
Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
