Lead Water Mitigation Technician

Resto Pro’s of Columbus West is in search of a Lead Water Restoration Technician. This role is mainly responsible for performing water mitigation for residential and commercial properties while providing excellent customer service. This is a labor-intensive construction related position that has a rotating on call / emergency response” requirement. This role will quickly grow to become a leader of a team of helpers and technicians, therefore high level performance of water mitigation according to the industry specifications are required.

Job Duties:

•Must be able to explain the mitigation and repairs process to prospective customers

•Scope the damages and perform mitigation services- extraction, drying and spraying when appropriate

●Provide documentation to the estimator for approval

● Develop moisture mapping and create drying-log

●Be capable of carrying heavy loads of debris, damaged materials, and equipment

●Ensure all equipment, supplies, vehicles and products entrusted in your care are properly handled and maintained

●Attend certification classes as needed

Qualifications:

•Must have valid IICRC WRT certification

•High diploma/GED

•Basic math skills

● Have excellent customer service skills

● Be ready, willing and able to work and be available for overtime, evenings and weekends

● Be able to work unsupervised

● Have a great attitude, be trustworthy, be dependable, and have a pleasant personality

●Willingness to undergo a background check -must have clean criminal history, driving record and valid drivers’ license

●Physically able to work in PPE including respiratory equipment

Experience:

● 3-5 years (Preferred)

● Restoration, 3-5 year (Preferred)

●3-5 year (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40-60 hours/week

Pay: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour
