A tornado moved through Lake Village, Indiana, last week, leaving severe damage across several neighborhoods.
RestoPros of NW Indiana was on site the following day to help assess damaged properties and begin early cleanup efforts. Owner Liz Sechrist and Project Manager Anthony Fleischauer were called by a client who needed immediate support after the storm passed.
The team spent the day evaluating structural concerns, documenting conditions, and helping homeowners understand the next steps in the recovery process. Early assessments like these help identify safety issues, determine what can be stabilized quickly, and guide the longer-term rebuilding plan.
The recovery ahead will take time, but the community has already begun banding together to support families affected by the storm. Volunteers and local organizations are gathering essential supplies, and neighbors are stepping in to help one another as a steady source of support. For RestoPros, this kind of community-driven response is core to how each location operates, and the NW Indiana team is committed to being part of that effort as recovery continues.
RestoPros will continue supporting property owners throughout the rebuilding process and helping them return to their homes and businesses safely.
